Wall Injection Myths — Holes, Mess, and Settling
What actually happens during cavity fill, how we verify fill quality, and when injection is the wrong tool.
Wall injection is not “spray foam in every wall.” Sometimes dense-pack cellulose is the right tool; sometimes slow-rise foam fits narrow cavities behind brick. Myth one: you will have hundreds of giant holes — ports are small and sequenced to minimize patchwork. Myth two: insulation will fix mold — moisture problems get diagnosed first.
We verify injectability with borescope checks where helpful and stop when framing or sheathing says no. A good no is cheaper than a bad yes.
