This Privacy Policy describes how Salt City Insulation ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website (https://saltcityinsulation.com) and related services, including our internal customer relationship management (CRM) tools used by our employees.

Information we collect
- Contact and project details you submit on quote, scheduling, or contact forms (name, phone, email, address, ZIP, notes, referral source, and similar).
- Appointment and job information created when you schedule an estimate or we schedule an install (dates, status, property details).
- Media such as photos or videos you or our crew upload for scoping or job documentation (when that feature is used).
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and anonymized usage metrics via hosting analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights).
- Employee account data for CRM login (name, email, role) for authorized staff only.
How we use information
- Respond to quote requests and schedule estimates or installs
- Send transactional messages (email/SMS) such as booking confirmations, reminders, and service updates
- Operate our business, jobs, invoicing, and customer records
- Improve our website and internal tools
- Comply with legal obligations
Integrations and service providers
We use trusted providers to operate our services. Depending on features in use, this may include:
- Hosting & storage (e.g. Vercel) for the website, CRM, and file storage
- Email (e.g. Resend) for notifications and transactional mail
- SMS (e.g. Twilio) for appointment and lead alerts
- Maps / geocoding (e.g. Google) to help locate service addresses and route scheduling
- QuickBooks Online — when connected by our staff, customer, job, estimate, and invoice-related data may sync to our QuickBooks Online company file for accounting. Access is limited to our authorized employees and Intuit under their terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising. Our QuickBooks connection is for our own company's internal operations, not a multi-tenant product sold to other QuickBooks users.
SMS / email consent
If you provide a phone number or email and request a quote or appointment, we may send transactional messages about your request. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP (where supported) or by contacting us. Marketing messages, if any, will follow applicable consent rules.
Data retention
We retain customer and job records as needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion or correction of personal data subject to legal retention requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information (including access-controlled CRM login for staff). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children
Our services are directed to homeowners and businesses, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
